The Cuban people are really quite amazing. I suppose that statement cannot include the entire population, as with any other place in the world there are some individuals who are not. That said, I encountered so many wonderful people who were not only gracious and open to my photography, but willing to take a few moments to try and communicate with me. Although life in the communist country is certainly not the easiest with basic essentials sometimes out of reach for the average citizen; I was greeted with friendliness and positive energy by many. Truly an exceptional time and a country that I will surely visit many times in the future.
