Winnipeg Street: Tina
I met Tina while I was walking home from work. At first I passed by her but felt compelled to turn around and ask her for a portrait. I’m happy I did because I think she is one of my favorite portraits thus far – and is of course much different from the people I’m used to photographing on the street!
She was a bit surprised by my request and asked several questions before agreeing. She liked this shot the best out of three. In the end, it was a very brief but worthwhile encounter.
Great street portrait Mike :D
Thank you Joe!
Beautiful portrait, Mike. I love the light and the texture in her gorgeous hair.
Thank you so much, Jane! Her hair is really striking, I agree. I only wish I had my business cards at the time, or at least given her my email to send her the photo.
Wow – her eyes are so bright I would have guessed you two knew each other for a lot longer than a few minutes. Brilliant shot.
Thank you! She was a bit suspicious at first but once in front of the camera she relaxed considerably. I’m not sure what my answer would be if someone asked for my photo!
I’m far more comfortable behind the lens :)
I like Tina :)
