Winnipeg Street: Doug
Doug was enjoying the hot summer day by relaxing in some shade when I noticed and approached him. He first said he liked my tattoos and asked what they meant. After I offered my explanation, we started talking about the Aboriginal festival that was going on in Winnipeg that weekend. Doug gave me the go ahead to take a portrait after which we shook hands and parted ways.
A brief but memorable encounter. One thing I really like about photographing the streets of Winnipeg are the very diverse people I meet, from all walks of life and cultures.
Seriously, Winnipeg Street should be your main hangout! Loving the detail and the depth of the image.
I definitely love shooting these streets! So many interesting people. Thank you always! :)
I like this one. He even has a dreamcatcher on his hat! :)
Thanks!! His hat was brilliant and it caught my eye right away! How could I not ask for his picture? :)
You find the most interesting people! You have a great eye for spotting subjects.
Thanks Jessica! I really love the diversity of the people I’ve photographed. Each face is interesting and unique.
Brilliant portraits.
Thank you my friend!
This one is fantastic, Mike.
