Winnipeg at Dusk
An evening photo of Winnipeg. The large building to the left of the frame is the Canadian Museum for Human Rights which is set to open later this month.
I’ll be doing some catch up on as many of your blogs as possible! Cheers and thanks for stopping by.
A singular, exquisite capture. I’ll now head off to sleep with an image in mind of a city I know nothing about. Thanks for the “dream starter,” Mike.
Thank you, and you’re welcome, Eric!! :)
Wow, it`s just beautiful! It would be a great wallpaper for my new computer! :)
Cheers, Eduardo! I suppose it could make a good computer backdrop! As long as you don’t have any blue icons :)
Sure! Take a look at my MBP’ desktop https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/35896654/escritorio.jpg I’ll keep it if you don’t mind, of course.
I saw this one on Facebook. Stunning image, Mike.
Ps Thank you for your feedback on my work. Much appreciated… Enjoy your weekend.
Thank you Malin! Also, weekend was quite nice – relaxing :)
You’re very welcome in regards to feedback – my pleasure.
I am ever more surprised, impressed and embarrassed by my ignorance of our Northern neighbor. This is beautiful.
No need to feel embarrassed! I figure there are many things Canadians and Americans don’t know about each others’ countries – which is rather unfortunate given our proximity! However, with the internet, this might actually be improving. Thanks Mark!
Always. And I am learning about Canada through your camera’s eye … very cool. As I think I mentioned, we do know Canada geographically from Quebec eastward. Many New Yorkers have summer places on Prince Edward’s Island, Nova Scotia, Quebec. But, honestly, we know that Toronto is immense and we get Canadian television programs now, but they all seem to be set in Toronto. Why’s that? I have heard through the grapevine that Ottawa is gorgeous. In any event, this continues to be my great Canadian adventure.
Stunning photo. Love the lighting and the bridge!

Thank you Diana! Always appreciated :)
Fantastic image… what a peaceful evening, never have seen the river so calm! Beautiful colours!
Thank you Doug! It really was beautiful that night.
Gorgeous image! A great invitation to visit Winnipeg.
Cheers, Mark! The city certainly has some very nice areas and atmosphere. Sometimes Winnipeg get’s bad media coverage, but it is often best to look beyond that.
Winnipeg is looking beautiful at night! You Mike promote your City very well!
