No.2: Frozen Walk
The second image in my Winnipeg Light and Shadow series. It was around -35C last night and I went out for a walk. Batteries and my will to photograph don’t last too long in that cold!! I was happy enough with this one – especially when a person entered the frame.

Well worth venturing out Mike. Amazing shot
Thank you very much Bob! :) Nice to see your comment.
Great to see you back in the frame Mike.
you should enter this in Street Challenge on Gurushots.com. It is beautiful!
Thanks for the link, Chris, and for the thoughtful comment! Appreciated.
The cloud of person’s exhale is a good sign of -35C.
haha…indeed it is Alexander! Cheers.
at -35 o C the will of my fingers is quite small too
And then there’s the whole waiting for the camera to defrost after getting inside! Like a metal brick :)
The person entering the frame is great because you can see his exhale and now it’s very cold in winterpeg!
Diana xo
This is the winter weather we’ve been waiting for here! After several weeks of unusually nice days – it feels like old times, back in natures icebox :) Thanks always, Diana!
and by now I mean how…. ;)
I suppose I could edit the original, right? But I do like this little addition! :D
And it can be tough to recharge one’s will in winter’s depths! Like the shot, even more knowing what you endured to get it. :)
Absolutely, Eric! Heading outdoors here can be a bit painful – however, with months of winter, it’s best to at least try :) Thank you!
