Our World is a Tiny Speck
A recent attempt at star photography. It’s quite amazing what the camera will pick up – even a few shooting stars. Perhaps a little less time on the shutter would have been better, but overall I was pleased.

What a spectacular shot! Thanks for sharing! This morning, the morning stars so beautifully bright and aligned.. I mentioned it to a neighbour as we stood chatting outside… he hadn’t noticed, hadn’t yet lifted his eyes to the heavens, was just grumbling about someone parking in his spot… suddenly the sight of the stars changed everything…he forgot about his minor irritations… said “oh yeah” and stood staring for a few moments, as though he had never seen anything like it before!
Thank you Doug! Nothing better when out in the rural parts of Canada, to just look up and see all that beauty! As I’ve seen from your recent photos, you’re experiencing some wonderful scenery out west. Cheers.
It certainly is.. and these shots are a beautiful reminder, Mike. Really nice work. Fun to experiment!
Much appreciated Jane :)
Very cool!
Thank you Mark!
